Suspect, 76-year-old man, arrested by police for public sexual assault of underage girl

Upper Allen Police arrested Roy Andrews, 76, on April 22 after witnesses at a nearby restaurant reported “watching an older man sexually molest a young female child in public.”

According to authorities, Andrews served as a youth leader at the Hispanic Harrisburg church “Iglesia La Feunta” from 2014 to 2022. According to authorities, here is where Andrew first met the victim.

Police investigated the April 7 public attack, which led them to Anderson’s residence on April 22. According to police, Anderson attempted to flee and fight arrest following the execution of a search warrant.

Andrews was transported to Cumberland County Central Booking and will remain in Cumberland County Prison until his arraignment.
