Ohatchee, AL (DMN) – An arrest has been made in a tragic incident in Alabam where a man is accused of fatally harming his parents on Saturday evening.
In the late afternoon of Saturday, August 10, the Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident on Taylor Road in Ohatchee.
Sheriff Matthew Wade and his team swiftly arrived at the scene.
Tyler Ferguson, a 35-year-old resident of Ohatchee, Alabama, was promptly apprehended by law enforcement at the location.
Law enforcement in Calhoun County has reported a tragic incident involving the discovery of a deceased individual, identified as Randall Ferguson, who succumbed to a gunshot wound. Additionally, his mother, Debbie Ferguson, was found on the back porch with a gunshot wound, requiring immediate medical attention.
She was taken to Gadsden Regional where she passed away from her injury.
Tyler Ferguson is facing two counts of murder and is currently being detained in the Calhoun County jail without bond.
Calhoun County is currently conducting an ongoing investigation into this incident as reported by ABC-3340 News.
