Fire broke out at the Albany Therapeutic Riding Center in Guilderland on Thursday.
Firefighters responded to 6640 Fuller Station Road for a report of a fire. When they arrived, there was a fully involved barn fire and fire out the front bay door and through the roof, according to the Guilderland Center Fire Department.
Crews set up the ladder truck to protect the adjacent house from exposure.
Firefighters used water from the local fire hydrant as well as hand lines and tools around the structure to knock out the fire.
Firefighters also used a machine to pull apart areas of interest and remove hay from the structure, according to the department.
