Rep. Elise Stefanik is speaking out amid reports she’s being considered for President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet.
Speaking on 77WABC’s “Sid & Friends in The Morning” in New York City, Stefanik said she’s ready to help Trump.
“I’m honored to have my name in the mix, but I’m focused on serving the president however that sees fit, whether that’s passing the agenda in Congress or serving in his administration. But I know, you know, he’s going to put together a stellar team no matter what,” Stefanik told the radio station.
As NewsChannel 13 reported on Thursday, CNN is reporting Stefanik, a Republican and House GOP conference chair, is being strongly considered as United Nations ambassador.
NewsChannel 13 reached out to the congresswoman for comment, we have not yet heard back.
