NBC News has officially declared Democrat Josh Riley the winner in the race for the 19th Congressional District.

Riley defeated incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro, who has not yet conceded victory.

Counting will begin Tuesday. Molinaro said whatever the results are, he will accept it.

This is a rematch from 2022 when Molinaro won by 1.6%.

The 19th Congressional District spans from Rensselaer and Columbia counties across the Hudson Valley through the Catskills and along the Southern Tier.
