Girls’ cross country sectionals: Shenendehowa’s Leyla Bhusri wins the Class A title

Queensbury High school hosted the cross country sectionals Saturday. On the girls side, Bethlehem won the team title for Class A. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake won the Class B championship. Voorheesville won Class C, and Maple Hill took the Class D title.

Suburban Council champion and Shenendehowa junior Leyla Bhusri took home the Class A individual title with a time of 17:38.2. The state championships will be back at Queensbury on Saturday.
