The Washington Avenue Bridge will now be the CW2 Casey N. Frankoski Memorial Bridge, Gov. Kathy Hochul said on Monday.

The bridge on Washington Avenue crosses I-90 in Rensselaer.

New York Guardsmen John Grassia III of Rotterdam was also killed.
