The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area held its fourth annual “Stop the Violence” rally on Monday afternoon.

Kids from across the region were at the rally, according to organizer David Gordon. This fight isn’t just against gun violence. It’s all kinds of violence, he said.

“We’ve got kids represented from Troy and Rensselaer and Albany counties,” said Gordon. “These are our future, and if we don’t all cater to them and give them the tools necessary to succeed, they’re going to fall to all the violence in the area.”

The rally was held on Veterans Day, so students could attend on their day off from school.
