With Congresswoman Elise Stefanik being tapped to become the UN Ambassador in President-elect Trump’s administration, that opens the door to a special election to fill her current seat.

We are already hearing some names for Republican candidates being floated for the 21st Congressional District, including Assemblyman Chris Tague from Schoharie County, Assemblyman Robert Smullen from Johnstown, Rensselaer County Executive Steve McLaughlin and Senator Dan Stec in Warren County.
