Man who donated Rockefeller Center Christmas tree making ‘baby steps’ in stroke recovery 

The Berkshire County man who donated the holiday tree for Rockefeller Center is making “baby steps” in his recovery from a stroke, according to his family. 

Earl Albert, of West Stockbridge, donated this year’s Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. He is currently in the hospital.  

The family tells NewsChannel 13 that he is still planning to go down to New York City for the tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 4.  

Earl’s family has been asking for Christmas cards to cheer him up.
