Gloversville man arrested on a warrant at JFK airport, violated order of protection

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested Michael D. Jaudon, 32, of Gloversville on Saturday night at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, NY on a warrant for violating an order of protection.

Officials say he was charged with first-degree criminal contempt (a class E felony).

The charge stems from an incident that happened on February 22 in Clifton Park, where Jaudon is accused of violating an order of protection to stay away from the protected person, said the Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say the charge was upgraded to a felony due to a previous conviction for second-degree criminal contempt within the last five years.

Jaudon was taken from the airport to Saratoga County Jail, pending arraignment in the Saratoga County Court.
