CONCHS BOYS SOCCER CRUSHES ’CANES 7-0 IN RIVALRY MATCH


On November 12, Key West and Coral Reef drew 1-1 in Miami. Sebastian Camargo scored the Conchs’ lone goal after Dominik Novotny provided an assist. They performed better when they defeated Coral Shores 7-0 at home on November 15.

The Conchs’ goalie, Fausto Paz, won the shutout. Loubins Fleuridor led Key West offensively and recorded a hat trick in the victory. The other four goals were scored by Camargo, Sonny Bowden, Jose Sente Reyes, and Finn O Hearn. Kieran Smith, Jack Reynolds, and Sonny Bowden all contributed an assist. Albie Bowden contributed two assists throughout the game. Thus far this season, the Conchs are 2-1-1.

Coral Shores defeated Westland Hialeah 4-2 at home last week to record their first victory of the season after losing to Key West and Florida Christian the week before. Preston Carroll and Anton Khioni each contributed one goal, while Xoi Placenia scored two. Armando Picado was also given credit for an assist, and Khoni also contributed to two more goals.

There was no game action at Marathon last week.
