National Grid volunteers decorate Ronald McDonald House for Christmas

At Albany’s Ronald McDonald House, a holiday custom is once again making families’ lives happier.

National Grid volunteers spent part of Friday decorating the home on South Lake Avenue for Christmas.

For families with children with severe medical conditions, the structure serves as a free home away from home.

Mark Murray, the manager of electric operations for National Grid, felled and donated a tree from his own land.

To help Ronald McDonald House Charities, National Grid employees raised thousands of dollars.
