A Greenfield man is charged with causing property damage and breaking a protective order.
Just before 4 p.m. on Sunday, deputies arrived for a domestic dispute on North Greenfield Road in the town of Greenfield.
According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, James S. Watkins purposefully broke a screen door at the victim’s home and threatened to hurt them physically over the phone.
Watkins was accused of criminal mischief, aggravated harassment, and aggravated family offense. He was freed on his own recognizance after being charged in Milton Town Court.
