About $30,000 and almost 5,000 household items for those in need were raised at this year’s Skidmore Cares drive.
As part of a collegiate tradition, students performed musical renditions of popular songs from fifty years ago during Skidmania 74.
According to the institution, the concert’s revenues this year totaled about $30,000 when trustee James Zankel matched them.
The products and funds will be given to Shelters of Saratoga and the Salvation Army, among other charity organizations in the Capital Region.
