Girl, 3, remains in medically induced coma after deadly Waterford fire

Following a fire in Waterford earlier this week, a 3-year-old daughter is still in a medically induced coma. One person perished in the fire, while six others were hospitalized.

According to a GoFundMe page created for her, the young child is presently receiving treatment at Shriners Hospital in Boston.

She is in a medically induced coma and has third-degree burns on her body.

An update on her condition is being sought by NewsChannel 13.

According to the State Office of incident Prevention and Control, the incident was caused by a portable heating device, as NewsChannel 13 has reported.

According to authorities, it began in the apartment’s second-floor back bedroom.

The deceased occupied the third level of the house.
