According to Albany Police, an 11-year-old girl who fell through the ice at a lake in Washington Park on Saturday has passed away.
This comes after a 12-year-old child died after falling in as well.
According to the authorities, the girl fell in while attempting to save the boy. Since then, she had been at the hospital.
North Albany Middle School is where both kids attend.
The school has a crisis team that has been assisting people in coping with the tragedy.
