Midwife gets probation for handing out fake COVID-19 cards

A midwife who distributed phony COVID-19 vaccination cards received a three-year probationary term.

Those who were not vaccinated were given vaccination cards by Kathleen Breault, who worked at Sage Femme Midwifery. This includes children and non-citizens of the United States who were not in the county at the time of their alleged vaccination.

In addition, Breault received a $100 fine and was ordered to pay $37,414.40 in restitution, which will be divided between two other offenders.

Next month, Kelly McDermott, the proprietor of Sage Femme Midwifery, will be sentenced. Sherilyn Pellitteri, a third defendant from Kentucky, is pending sentencing.
