State Police make DWI arrests

Numerous arrests for drunk driving have been made by State Police.

On December 7, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Jeremy M. Arnold, 28, of Fonda, was taken into custody during a traffic check on Route 5S in the town of Glen. According to police, his blood alcohol content was 0.21%. 0.08% is the legal limit.

On Dec. 8, John J. Wilson, 33, of Cobleskill, was charged with DWI following a single-vehicle collision on Mineral Springs Road in Cobleskill shortly after 12:30 a.m. According to the police, his blood alcohol content was 0.18%.

Diane L. Larouech, 62, of Gansevoort was taken into custody by the State Police after she lost her way on December 9 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Traver Road in Wilton. Police said her blood alcohol content was 0.16% over the legal limit. Due to her prior conviction within the last ten years, the charge was increased to a felony.

On December 10, shortly after two in the morning, Troy resident Michael J. Hickey, 33, was pulled over for a traffic infraction in Malta, according to the police. Police reported his blood alcohol content was 0.19%.

Following a collision that occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on December 11 in the vicinity of South Shore Road in Hadley, April Allen, 50, of Hadley, was taken into custody. According to authorities, she had a BAC of 0.21%.

On December 11, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Harold Sukram, 55, of Schenectady, was pulled over for a traffic infraction along Pangburn Road in Duanesburg, according to the police. His BAC was 0.22%.

On December 11 at around 9:24 p.m., Emmanuel Rosario Echevarria, 30, of Clifton, was taken into custody following a two-vehicle collision in Colonie. According to the police, he has been convicted of DWI within the last ten years.
