Thedailymiamines– Phoenix— Authorities say two adults have been killed and a child is in the hospital after police were called to a murder-suicide in west Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the incident took place in an apartment complex close to Indian School Road and 99th Avenue on Sunday night.
Inside one of the units, witnesses reported hearing several gunshots after an argument, according to authorities.
Officers discovered a toddler injured and the bodies of Ashlee Corona, 35, and Andrew Corona, 38, inside the residence.
For treatment of a gunshot wound, the toddler was sent to the hospital immediately. The child’s condition is still critical.
Investigators think Andrew Corona shot Ashlee and the child before shooting himself. Investigators are trying to find out more about the events that preceded the incident.
