17 Arrested in Major Georgia Trafficking Sting Operation named “Operation Not for Sale”

Georgia Bureau of Investigation officials reported that a multi-agency online undercover investigation known as “Operation Not For Sale,” which targeted sex traffickers and sex buyers in the Bryan County region, resulted in the arrest of 17 individuals.

According to the announcement, the operation was organized by the GBI’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit (HEAT), the Richmond Hills Police Department, the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division. According to officials, the police have supplied resources to ten sex workers.

GBI official further stated:

“Operation Not for Sale” involved months of planning and the collaboration of four law enforcement agencies to combat human trafficking. The arrestees, ranging in age from 21 to 49, traveled from areas around Bryan County, GA with the intent to purchase sex or sell sex.

The goal of “Operation Not for Sale” was to draw in sex buyers for demand reduction and draw in sex workers to offer services. The objective was to identify and arrest pimps and human traffickers through this two-fold approach. The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) also assisted in providing resources to the victims.

The GBI reported the following arrests for pimping:

  • Davron Jamaal Hinton, 37 – Jacksonville, FL
  • Oswaldo Rodriguez Rameriz – 33 – Savannah, Georgia
  • Karolay Karlay. Rosalin Arraez Romero – 23

The GBI also said that officers arrested and charged 14 people for pandering:

  • Steven Ray Snelson, 45, of Hinesville, Georgia
  • Antonio Babbs, 45, of Hinesville, Georgia
  • James Rush, age 49, of Richmond Hill, Georgia
  • Mario Romero, age 33, from Claxton, Georgia
  • Alberto Jay Vadi, 42, of Savannah, Georgia (DUI)
  • Rakshit Ravi Ramteke, age 21, of Savannah, Georgia
  • Miles Diede, age 29, of Savannah, Georgia
  • Chiragkumar Patel, age 36, from Savannah, Georgia
  • Jason Manuel Herrera, age 39, of Savannah, Georgia (Drug Charge)
  • George Foster Sharpe, age 38, of Savannah, Georgia
  • David Herrera Trujillo, age 37, from Eden, Georgia
  • Juan Mora Flores, age 48, from Washington
  • Samuel De’Antayke Sawyer, 24, of Richmond Hill, Georgia
  • Seyth Allan Cambron, age 32, of Savannah, GA (outstanding warrant and drug charge).

GBI authorities claimed that further arrests are expected, adding that the investigation is active and ongoing.
