Donald Trump has stated that the strange red stains on his hands that aroused online discussion last month were artificial intelligence-generated.
When questioned about the images by Fox News’ Mark Meredith, Trump stated that he had not seen them. When asked what happened to his hands, the former president said, “Nothing.” “Maybe it was AI.”
The images were shot as Trump left his Manhattan residence to attend E. Jean Carroll’s second defamation trial. Several photographs showed him waving, with little red markings evident on his right hand.
They did not appear to be present the previous evening, according to images obtained in Atkinson, New Hampshire.
A dermatologist previously told Business Insider that the marks were most likely rashes from a variety of causes.
Trump representatives did not immediately react to BI’s request for comment, which was made outside of usual working hours.
Following Ron DeSantis’ withdrawal from the contest, Trump is running for the Republican presidential nomination alongside former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
The Republican nominee will not be officially announced until July, but numerous GOP leaders have already referred to the former president as the “presumptive nominee.”
