Mirtza Ocana landed at Tampa International Airport on a trip from Cuba on February 5. She stated she didn’t have more than $10,000 with her.

Ocana did not disclose any cash, but during a routine examination of her luggage, officials discovered $30,000 in cash concealed in three wrapped bundles, according to the lawsuit.

The 38-year-old revealed that she flew from Cuba to Tampa two to three times every month to smuggle cash into the United States.
