FHP reports speeding driver causing 3-vehicle hit-and-run on Howard Frankland

The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for information on a hit-and-run that clogged traffic on the Howard Frankland Bridge Sunday.

A Florida Department of Transportation video captured heavy traffic on the bridge at 11 a.m.

According to the FHP, a red AMG drove at high speeds while weaving through traffic on the bridge before colliding with a car on the right.

Following the initial incident, the second vehicle swerved and collided with an RAV4, knocking it into a concrete median.

Troopers say the AMG fled the area following the incident. The driver of the third vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Troopers advised that if you have any information, call *FHP or **TIPS.
