The Sheriff’s Office stated on social media that they received a call at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday regarding claims of two guys who fell over the falls and disappeared.

Rescue teams spent many hours searching the region but were unable to locate the men, according to officials.

The sheriff’s office told Fox 13 that the two males were with two others when they fell.

Because of the strong currents in Snohomish County rivers and the freezing water temperatures, the Sheriff’s Office advises the public to stay out of the water and away from the falls.

The identities of the missing hikers have not yet been revealed.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office for more information but has yet to hear back.
