A 23-year-old Florida woman who posed as a 14-year-old girl online in order to meet and molest a teenage boy has been charged with new offenses, according to authorities.
Alyssa Ann Zinger, of Tampa, was arrested for the second time on Thursday and charged with new sex offenses against juveniles after four more victims came forward, according to WFLA.
According to an arrest record, she was initially detained in November for reportedly engaging in at least 30 sexual acts with at least one middle school pupil aged 12 to 15, as well as sending obscene videos to numerous others.
The accused predator allegedly utilized a fictitious profile on social media as a homeschooled 14-year-old to contact the kids, who attended Wilson Middle School in Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood, primarily via Snapchat.
Tampa police stated at the time that they thought there were more casualties.
Following her initial arrest, she was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious battery and five counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.
According to arrest documents, the first victim informed police that the two had sex several times and that Zinger sent him obscene images and videos, while another said she provided a video of sexual intercourse to several minors via Snapchat. She also admitted to one victim that she had intercourse with other teenagers.
Zinger and one of the victims were caught shoplifting at a Nordstrom in July. She tried to keep up the pretense, telling cops she was born in 2009, which he couldn’t verify, according to a search warrant.
The officer was able to locate information on Alyssa Zinger born in 2001, but when confronted, Zinger concocted a desperate tale about having a half-sister with the same name, according to the documents.
The warrant stated that police had been investigating Zinger for approximately a year.
Cops discovered she was lying after analyzing her school and employment documents and contacted her Tampa Publix employer, who confirmed she was an adult.
Only three months later, a victim stepped forward to report Zinger’s alleged crimes.
