Montgomery County’s I-75 Sniper Faces Justice with Guilty Plea!

The guy who is suspected of carrying out a “targeted” shooting in Harrison Township earlier this year is perhaps going to spend time in jail.

According to the records filed in the court, Jerome Foster, who is 49 years old, entered a guilty plea on Wednesday in the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court after being charged with two counts of felony assault and one count of misdemeanor endangering minors.

According to a representative for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, News Center 7 had previously reported that on February 9, officers went to a call on Needmore Road reporting a car that had been fired at. The call was about a vehicle that had been shot at. Interstate 75 North, between Wagner Ford Road and Needmore Road, was identified as the location where the incident took place upon investigation.

The victim was reportedly targeted in the event by the father of her children, and she came dangerously close to being struck by gunfire; nonetheless, she remained unscathed during the shooting, according to a representative for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The perpetrator of the shooting, who has been named Foster, was found and put into jail on February 12th.

The court filings suggest that, as part of the plea deal, three felony counts relating to firearms were dropped, in addition to a second misdemeanor offense of endangering minors.

Foster is still being held in the Montgomery County Jail, and his verdict is expected to be handed down on April 24.
