Atlanta, GA (DMN) – A 32-year-old man was arrested Friday night for allegedly possessing and sharing multiple videos depicting child sex abuse, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
A 32-year-old man named Blake Lawrence Edwards is currently facing 108 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Shockingly, two of these counts involve him sending the materials to others. This disturbing case is currently being investigated by deputies. He was apprehended at his residence and processed at Hall County Jail.
Authorities became aware of Edwards’ illicit actions in March after he distributed the videos on a peer-to-peer platform. During the investigation, authorities conducted a search of the individual’s residence on May 14 while he was absent.
They discovered two hard drives that contained over 100 videos as reported by AtlantaNewsFirst.
Deputies have stated that there is no evidence to suggest that the videos were produced locally. There may be additional charges that are still under consideration.
