Sussex County Community College to hold Veteran Appreciation Dinner on Nov. 8

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is honored to invite all veterans to its Veterans Appreciation Dinner on Friday, November 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at the VFW Post 5360 Hall, located at 85 Mill Street in Newton.

In recognition of the service and sacrifices made by our veterans, SCCC will be serving a complimentary Fish & Chips dinner to all attendees who have served in the military. The dinner is free for veterans, and meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, as quantities are limited.

“We are grateful for the dedication and bravery of our veterans,” said Dr. Connolly, president of SCCC. “This event is our way of saying thank you and giving back to those who have given so much.”
