State Police say they found a burglar sleeping in the woods across the street from the business he broke into.

Police say early Wednesday morning, Troopers responded to reports of a burglary at a business in Schodack on Maple Hill Road.

They say 29-year-old Nicholas Layman from Nassau broke into and stole from that business.

Police say Troopers found Layman sleeping in the woods across the street with the stolen items.

Officials say he was arraigned and released.
