Air quality improves in Capital Region after Sunday’s smoky haze

Air quality improves in Capital Region

There was a big improvement on Monday from that thick smoky scene we had across the Capital Region on Sunday.

The air quality has improved across the Capital Region.

It comes after a thick, smoky haze blanketed the area on Sunday.

That smoke was from wildfires burning south of us, mainly in the Catskills.

However, we have now moved back into “good” air quality across our region, according to AirNow.gov.
