Jasper Peterson was found guilty of two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree assault.

This stemmed from an incident on Sept. 15, 2023 in the area of Knox Street in Albany. He hit someone and also had cocaine, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.

Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 17. He could get up to 15 years in prison as a persistent felon.
