A new principal has been appointed at the Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical Education Center in Albany.

Dr. Joseph Slichko began work on Nov. 18. He joins Capital Region BOCES from the Albany City School District, where he was Abrookin Career and Technical Center Principal & CTE administrator for the last five years.

The new principal said in a news release that he is excited to get to work promoting the value of a career and technical education (CTE) and the teachers and teaching assistants who make it happen.
