Police seek person who robbed two people at Lake George gas station

State Police are looking for a suspect who robbed two people at a Lake George gas station on Friday.

Troopers responded to a report of a robbery on Nov. 15 just after 9 a.m. at the Extra Mart Mobile Gas station on Route 9N just off Exit 21 of the Northway. Two people were pumping gas, when they were approached by a person wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on it, black pants, white shoes, a hat and a ski mask, State Police said.

The suspect demanded both victims purses while displaying what appeared to be a handgun in the waistband of their pants. After stealing the items, the robber walked away from the station in an easterly direction.

Police did not find the person searching the area.
