Albany’s St. Peter’s Hospital is cleaning up after a busted pipe caused flooding.
Just after two in the morning, the pipe burst. The hospital notified NewsChannel 13 on Monday.
They claimed that the medical imaging department was the only area affected.
According to them, it had an impact on their medical imaging equipment, and temporary ambulance diversions to other hospitals were started.
According to the hospital, patients are still receiving care despite the significant impact on ambulance traffic.
They stated that the emergency room is open to walk-in patients and has never closed.
In order to resume regular operations as quickly as possible, the hospital is working to clean up the area and reroute services.
