KAI THE FOX VISITS STORY TIME AT ISLAMORADA LIBRARY

Hello, pals! Here is your weekly Reef’s Report from Reef the Fox. For weekly story time, my friend Kai the fox traveled especially to the Islamorada library last week. The young children were ecstatic to see a real fox—who wouldn’t be?—and their parents had some fascinating inquiries about Pawsitive Beginnings.

One of the most crucial aspects of our mission is reaching out into the community to inspire and educate. Animal compassion begins at home, and as foxes, we know we’re doing our job well when we can serve as the catalyst for that compassion. It serves as a reminder that our tales of tenacity and second chances have the power to change things.

Oh, and if you missed us, don’t worry. On Tuesday, December 3, Kai will return to the Islamorada library to provide a very unique STEM presentation. (I’ve heard it will focus on how foxes are nature’s tiny scientists and not just adorable animals.)

This Saturday, Nov. 23, at 4 p.m., there’s a really entertaining event. Turn on For another year of holiday fun and excitement, Key Largo is returning. The Key Largo Community Preservation is hosting a family-friendly event at the Murray Nelson Government Center in Key Largo. Train rides, a Santa Claus visit, lots of merchants, delectable cuisine, games, and more are all planned. Participating in this free community event is the ideal way to start the holiday season.

In any case, that concludes this week. Visit our website atpawsitivebeginnings.org to stay up to date on all things fox, and follow the links to our many social media sites to see adorable pictures and hear me yell every day.
