Harbaugh brothers share hug at midfield before facing each other for 3rd time

INGLEWOOD, CA (AP) — During Monday night’s pregame warm-ups for the Baltimore Ravens vs. Los Angeles Chargers, John and Jim Harbaugh had a hug near middle.

This is the first time the Harbaugh brothers have squared off as NFL coaches since the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in New Orleans in Super Bowl 47 in 2013.

Thanksgiving night in 2011 was the date of the other regular-season game. In Baltimore, the Ravens defeated the Niners 16–6.

After the 2014 season, Jim Harbaugh left San Francisco to become the head coach of the University of Michigan, his alma school. Before joining the Chargers, Harbaugh spent nine seasons as a Michigan coach and won the national championship the previous season.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play his sibling again last week.

I thought, “There will be another day,” as I left the field during the Super Bowl. According to him, there wasn’t for many years after that, and it appeared that I wouldn’t have another chance. However, I’m back in it and on a squad that has a shot thanks to God’s favor.

After chatting for a few minutes and posing for pictures, the brothers went back to respective teams.

My brother is someone I adore. And I would sacrifice myself for my brother. However, Jim Harbaugh stated in a pregame interview with ESPN that he would not allow him to win a football game. That is not how he would like it. We’re prepared to get started since it feels cool.

Before the game, John Harbaugh stated that it might be challenging to coach his brother since their teams can occasionally be exact replicas of one another.

“In a game like this, we have to overcome all the things we know about each other and all the things we love about each other,” he told ESPN. He is an excellent coach. He is a wonderful man. It’s complicated since he has a fantastic football squad and is an excellent leader.

On Monday, Jack and Jackie Harbaugh, their parents, commemorated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Although they are spending Thanksgiving week at their daughter Joanie’s residence in Bradenton, Florida, they were there at the first two games between the brothers.
