Pair charged with stealing from Palatine store

According to investigators, two Montgomery County residents stole from a store.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the first two burglaries occurred at Dygert Farms Creamery on November 14 and November 23.

Nelliston residents Janissa Wells, 32, and Eric Belcher, 34, were taken into custody on Sunday while Wells attempted to steal for the third time, according to officials.

Three charges of petty larceny have been brought against Wells. Belcher faces a pair of petit larceny charges.

Both were set free pending their next court dates.
