Christmas cards pour in for Rockefeller Tree donor who suffered stroke

People are being asked to continue sending Christmas cards to the family of the Berkshire County man who donated the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

The day the tree was down, Earl Alberts suffered a stroke.His family requested Christmas cards from everyone.

His family now claims that he has received cards from Hawaii and other states throughout the nation!

On Wednesday night, the tree was being illuminated with over 50,000 colorful LED lights.

Until the middle of January, the lights will remain on every day.
