Police: Argyle woman was nearly 3x too drunk to drive

A 56-year-old lady from Argyle is charged with driving while intoxicated by over three times the legal limit.

On November 12, shortly before 10:15 a.m., State Police pulled over Joanne M. Sharpe on Route 40. According to the police, Sharpe’s license was invalid.

Her blood alcohol content was found to be 0.23%. 0.08 is the legal limit.

DWI and other driving infractions were among the charges brought against Sharpe. On December 12, she must appear at Argyle Town Court.
