A lady from Bennington County is charged with assault during a marital dispute.
On Sunday, December 8, shortly before 8:15 p.m., Vermont State Police arrived at a house on Route 30 in Dorset. Mariana Reichl, 42, is accused of hitting a member of her family or home.
Reichl was accused with severe domestic assault in the first degree. Her arraignment in Bennington Superior Court is set for Monday afternoon after she was transferred to the Marble Valley Correctional Facility.
