A water system malfunction has prompted the Village of Whitehall to declare a Local State of Emergency.
The Village of Whitehall Board of Trustees agreed at an emergency meeting on Sunday night that starting at 11:30 p.m. tonight, all water in the village will have to be turned off.
According to the village, it will cut off the last link from the water towers, which will cut off the village’s entire water supply until further notice.
According to officials, this is due to a severely low water supply, and they must take all necessary steps to address the problems with the water supply and system.
By 10 a.m. on Monday, the Village of Whitehall will give an update on the situation.
