Mobile home a total loss in Mohawk fire

Following a structural fire on Friday night, the Town of Mohawk Fire Department reports that a mobile home is completely destroyed.

According to fire officials, they arrived at 204 Old Johnstown Road at approximately 6:23 p.m.

At the scene, a call for mutual aid was made.

According to Mohawk Fire, an electrical issue was the source of the fire.

The fire was completely extinguished by the time authorities arrived on the site, which was around 8:30 p.m.

The home’s resident reportedly sustained minor wounds.
