ROANOKE, Virginia (Thedailymiaminews)– A crash that occurred in Roanoke on Monday morning resulted in one person being sent to the hospital, as reported by Roanoke Fire-EMS.
A crash involving a single car was reported to have occurred at approximately 7:37 a.m. at the junction of Melrose Avenue and Westside Boulevard NW. Emergency responders went to the scene.
As soon as they arrived, firefighters were able to rescue one individual from the vehicle. The individual was in need of medical attention, therefore they were sent to a hospital.
An investigation is still being conducted to determine what caused the collision, and the authorities have not disclosed any other information regarding the driver’s condition or the possible factors that led to the occurrence.
