On Saturday evening, a fire tanker flipped over in a collision with a car on River Road in Potomac, Maryland, resulting in the transportation of two individuals to the hospital for treatment.
The incident took place at approximately eight o’clock in the evening, when the fire tanker was responding to a truck fire on the outer loop.
According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, both the driver of the motorcycle and the driver of the fire truck were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. On Sunday morning, the driver of the tanker was released from custody and is currently recuperating at home.
Currently, the investigation into the collision is being handled by the Montgomery County police department, and it is still ongoing.
