47-year-old Driver Identified After Fatal Three-vehicle Crash in Rio Linda

One of the drivers who was killed in a collision involving three vehicles that occurred on Saturday night in Rio Linda has been identified.

According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, David Bryant Estis, which was 47 years old and from Plumas Lake, passed away as a result of the collision that occurred along Rio Linda Boulevard south of Elkhorn Boulevard at approximately 9:30 p.m.

It was reported by the California Highway Patrol that Estis was going in the opposite direction on Rio Linda Boulevard when he was involved in a head-on collision with another car.

Law enforcement officials have stated that there was a third vehicle involved in the collision as well.
