The Allen County Coroner’s Office announced in a Friday press release that an 83-year-old man died after being driven over in a Fort Wayne automobile incident on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in a man being ran over in Fort Wayne’s 800 block of Ardis Drive. The victim was transferred to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Baltazar Guzman, 83, of Fort Wayne.
The Guzman family has been notified. The cause of death is numerous crush injuries caused by a motor vehicle crash, and the manner of death is accident.
Guzman is Allen County’s 21st traffic fatality in 2025.
The Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Coroner’s Office are investigating this event.
