Deadly Motorcycle Crash in Kent County Kills 65-year-old Man, 62-year-old Woman

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) reported that two people died in a motorbike crash in Oakfield Township on Saturday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the junction of Hart Street NE and McArthur Avenue NE for a single-vehicle motorbike accident.

The driver, a 65-year-old Greenville male, was pronounced dead on the scene. The passenger, a 62-year-old Greenville lady, was transported to a neighbouring hospital in critical condition. Deputies say she died later in the hospital.

According to early information, the motorist lost control and went off the road.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of both individuals during this difficult time,” a KCSO spokesperson stated.
