According to Alabama police, a mother was killed by one of her sons, who was later killed by her other son during another dispute in Mobile on Sunday.
Police said police arrived on Ross Street just after 5:30 p.m. and discovered two people dead inside a residence.
The deceased have been identified as Traci McDuffie, 52, and Brandon McDuffie, 25.
The Mobile Police Department stated that Brandon McDuffie fatally shot his mother, Traci McDuffie.
Traci McDuffie’s other son realized what happened. According to police, Brandon McDuffie fired a shot at the other son. Police said he shot his brother, Brandon in self-defense.
The death of Traci McDuffie has been mitigated by the death of Brandon McDuffie, according to authorities. A grand jury will hear evidence regarding Brandon McDuffie’s death.
