On Wednesday afternoon, June 11, the Milwaukee Police Department reports that a vehicle traveling at an excessive rate of speed collided with a Milwaukee fire engine that was operating with lights and sirens.
According to the authorities, the collision took place at approximately one o’clock in the afternoon on the southwest part of the city near the intersection of 26th and Oklahoma.
The twenty-year-old driver of the vehicle was sent to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
There was no additional injury that was reported.
